Why is shipping to a tradeshow different than
shipping general commodity freight?
There are specific deadlines when freight may be unloaded and many
more parties are handling your freight. Shipping to tradeshows is
more specialized and includes many more variables.
Why not just use the show carrier?
Choosing your own transportation company gives you more control
and flexibility, and will be more cost effective.
What is the difference between shipping to advanced
receiving vs. shipping directly to the show?
Advanced Receiving
allows you to get your material to the destination weeks prior to
the show date. You may feel more comfortable knowing your show
material is already at its destination. Once it is time to set up
your booth, contractors will move your show material to your booth
before they allow vendors to ship directly to the show. One
disadvantage is that you will pay for drayage.
Shipping Directly
to the show site gives you more time to prepare your shipment.
However, when shipping directly to the show, you will need to know
the exact time your transportation company can deliver into the
show. Show management gives exact move-in times in your show
packet. Make sure that you tell your transportation company your
move-in and pick-up times.
You have your shipment ready to go, now what?
You simply call DBA at 877-DBA-SHOW or email us at

and we take care of the rest. We only need 2 hours notice to
provide a pickup.
How will I know that my show material has arrived
safely and on- time at its destination?
If you use DBA, this is the easiest part. On every shipment
we will email, fax, or call you with your Proof of Delivery. We
also offer online tracking through our website,
www.dbaco.com. We are
open 24 hours, 7 days a week for your convenience, so you can call
us for a status of your shipment anytime.
The show is over, how do I send my shipment back
with DBA?
You can set-up your return shipment with DBA the same time you
request your initial pickup.
